YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

We know there are many who share our vision and are looking for their own way to make a difference.

Citizens, communities, families -- especially children -- are searching for ways to create a better planet.

Corporations are revisiting their environmental strategies and seeking partners in their efforts.

By supporting the Game Warden Museum you can take a personal, proactive stand for the value of natural resource conservation and protection.

You can help create an institution that honors North American heroes.

And you can participate in shaping a wild and natural world for future generations.

We welcome support for this effort in many forms. Collectively or individually, you can make a difference.

Partner With Us

Game Warden Museum supporters include a number of foundations, corporations and organizations that have generously and creatively committed their resources in partnering with us. Paving Stone
We are specifically seeking partners in offering unique visitor services and in developing entertaining and educational activities, events and exhibits.

As we are building the museum in phases, we encourage major contributors to consider sponsoring and naming an activity room, observation deck, exhibit or outdoor trail as part of the permanent facility. Meet our Partners.

We'd like to discuss Sponsoring or Partnering with the Game Warden Museum

Contribute to the Museum

We welcome and appreciate contributions in any amount and we protect your right to privacy if you wish to contribute anonymously.

I'd like to contribute to the museum.

Donate Exhibit Materials

The Game Warden Museum is committed to being an essential resource for historic information and significant artifacts for the wildlife protection profession.

To that end, we're gathering photographs, archival documents and relics for our historic exhibits and files.

We welcome your suggestions and contributions to educational programs as well.

I'd like to know more about what materials are needed.

I have items or ideas that might fit these needs.

Looking for Heroes

The top two goals of the Game Warden Museum are to honor the heroes of this profession and educate the public about them. While this has a lot to do with fallen officers we also want to celebrate our living heroes. They are many and varied, but we need your help finding them.

If you're an outdoors enthusiast, tell us your personal story of a first or memorable meeting with a Conservation Officer. If you're the family of a past, present or future wildlife officer, share the reasons you believe in this profession and its champions.

Wildlife officers: please tell us about the outstanding Game Wardens of your agency or association, whether retired, fallen or active officers. Be creative: we need to pay tribute to our peers who are heroes in their very own small and local way as well as the big time heroes.

Some ideas to consider:

* We want to recognize Game Wardens who have initiated programs or creative ways of doing their jobs. Who are the Game Wardens you know who have performed acts of heroism - large or small - and saved people, critters, forests, lakes?

* Game Wardens often contribute in significant ways to their communities: volunteering in schools and churches, helping the aged or poor, donating blood in crisis times. Do you know one?

* There are many Game Wardens who have donated their time and resources to help out Wildlife Professionals or others in third world countries. Tell us about them.

* Do you know a Game Warden who has earned recognition as an athlete, movie star, media celebrity, politician, business tycoon?

Please email us a few sentences dave.grant@gov.mb.ca about the outstanding Game Warden in your life and assist us in our effort to educate the public about the profession and recognize its heroes.

Thanks so much for your participation in this effort.

Game Warden Museum Board President, Dave Grant
