Golf Tournament

2009 golf tournament Information and Registration.

The annual Game Warden Museum golf tournament was once again sold out.  The 2009 tournament was the seventh annual and raised $16,000 for the Museum.  Credit goes to our corporate sponsor Brad Krulicki.  The success of the tournament has been largely because of Brad’s involvement.  The annual event has now raised an amazing $76,500 for the Game Warden Museum.

The 2010 annual golf tournament is set for August 12th at the Kingswood Golf and Country Club in LaSalle Manitoba. For more information click on the golf tournament Information and Registration link above.

I'd like to discuss setting up a charitable Golf Tourney in my state or province.

Torch Run

The Federal Wildlife Officers Association would like to thank all of the Associations, Corporations and individuals who helped make the 9th annual Federal Wildlife Officers Association (FWOA) sponsored NAWEOA Museum 5K Torch Run/Walk held at Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada a GREAT success. Together we raised over $12,000 which was donated to the NAWEOA Museum to assist in paying tribute to our fallen officers. Contributions from the first nine events have allowed us to donate over $75,000 to the NAWEOA Museum.

Annual Torch RunThe 2010 conference will be held in Pittsburgh, PA. The 2010 run/walk will be held at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and entry forms are now available. FWOA partners with the agency/association that sponsors the conference each year to organize the event. The success of the run/walk relies on the continued support from wildlife officers, their family members, their associations and concerned organizations and corporations. We are again asking for your support of the 2010 10th Anniversary 5K run/walk to make this the most successful event to date! We’d like to see EVERY officer association listed on the 10th Anniversary t-shirt, so spread the word!

Your Association can also participate by making a donation to the run. By making a donation, your association will be listed on the back of the commemorative T-shirt that will be provided to all participants.  If your association is interested in donating to the Torch Run/Walk project, please fill out a donation form which can be found below.

If you have any questions, please contact Ellen Goeckler, event coordinator at 781-915-7377 or at FWOASecretary@aol.com

Sponsor a Paving Stone

Consider sponsoring a paving stone to be placed on museum grounds. These may be engraved with an inscription and logo. This is a popular option for families, companies, or club chapters as a permanent sign of support.

I'd like to sponsor a Paving Stone

Purchase a Print

By Bill PogueJanuary 5, 1981, a poacher killed Idaho Conservation Officers Bill Pogue
and Conley Elms.

This story, which has become legendary in the wildlife protection profession, stands
as testimony to the dangers Conservation Officers face and the ultimate sacrifices
made by many in this profession.

The Pogue family authorized prints of Bill's original artwork, "The Trapper" to be made available for purchase to help support the North American Game Warden Museum's efforts to honor fallen officers.

I would like to purchase a print.
